Meet Our Amazing Dental Team in Federal Way

Business Administrator

I am from good ol’ New Jersey and live in Puyallup with my husband, two of my four children, and our four bunnies and four dogs. I’ve been working in dentistry for more than 10 years and love the interaction with the patients.

Why did you choose dentistry?

I think good oral hygiene is important and being able to contribute to other people having beautiful smiles is very rewarding. I like the behind the scenes work and enjoy the billing, insurance, and working with patients on their treatment plans. Aside from working with a great group of coworkers, I get to interact with a lot of different people all day. Each one has a unique treatment plan and being able to custom tailor it to them is very rewarding.

What’s your previous experience?

I’ve worked as a billing specialist, financial coordinator, and a dental office manager over the past 10+ years.

My educational achievements include:

  • Certified with Medical Terminology and Medical Billing
  • High School diploma

What do you do outside the office?

I like to read, do yoga, hang out with my pups, and spend time with my family. I also collect Funko Pops!

Who is your hero?

My hero would be my mom. She taught me to be strong and to stand up for myself and never give up, no matter the odds against you. My mom was truly one of a kind!

What “lesson from mom” do you still live by?

I learned that it’s okay to have fun, it’s okay to dream, and it’s okay to be yourself. I also learned that my kids will always think they are right and when they move out they will realize that I was.

What flavor of ice cream would you be?

Pecan ice cream, a little nutty and sweet.

Business Manager

I was born, raised, and lived most of my life in Puyallup until work and school brought me north, settling in Seattle. Most of my family lives around the Puget Sound so it’s nice to have an office that keeps me close to family.

Why did you choose dentistry?

I had a friend who worked in dentistry who really loved her profession. My corporate background consisted of retail operations management, human resources, and staffing, which are all skills used daily in dental office operations. I’m always learning new things! Understanding dental treatment and conditions are extremely helpful when helping patients make informed decisions that can affect their overall health, especially since dental health is a contributing factor to so many common diseases.

What’s your previous experience?

In addition to managing multiple practices, I help train office staff systems vital to helping dental offices run smoothly, including transitioning the outdated paper chart systems and film x-rays to completely computerized, paperless charting, and digital x-ray systems.

My educational achievements include:

  • Certifications in Human Resources and Project Management

What do you do outside the office?
